The problem we solve
Why we built this
Devon is the solar capital of the UK. More than one in ten Devon households already generate their own power - more than double the national average - and the county is home to nearly 200 solar installers, around 150 of them MCS-certified.
National directories are full of non-local results, paid rankings and businesses with no real connection to Devon. Finding an MCS-certified installer in Exeter, Barnstaple or Totnes shouldn't mean wading through companies based three counties away.
We built Devon Green Trades to fix that - a single, clean, local directory where every listing is verified and every business genuinely operates in Devon.

Our process
How verification works
MCS certification check
Our founding dataset comes directly from the MCS public installer register. Every business scraped from MCS is verified by definition - MCS accreditation is government-recognised and requires independent assessment.
Devon postcode filter
We only include businesses with a registered address in a Devon postcode (EX, TQ and Devon-area PL postcodes). No national businesses with a Devon PO box.
Business claims
When a business claims its listing, it verifies via a business email address. This confirms the person managing the listing has access to the business.
Self-submitted listings
Businesses that submit their own listing are manually reviewed before going live. We check for valid certifications before approving.

60-day money-back guarantee
We back every Premium and Featured Sponsor listing with a 60-day money-back guarantee. If you don't receive a single lead in your first 60 days, we refund you in full - no forms, no argument, no questions asked.
Monthly plan
No leads in the first 60 days? We refund your two monthly payments in full. Cancel and claim via email - we process it through Stripe the same day.
Annual plan
No leads in the first 60 days? We refund your entire annual payment in full. Same process - email us and we process through Stripe the same day.
One condition
The guarantee applies to fully completed listings only. Your logo, business description, services and contact details must all be filled in before the 60-day window begins. An incomplete listing won't convert - and we can't guarantee what we can't display.
